Getting started

If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact us at pamipa@pennstatehealth.psu.edu. We will send you link to consent the study and take the surveys.

Take the surveys

After you consent, you will be asked to complete an initial survey. After that, you may receive monthly check-ins during your pregnancy, and three surveys after your baby is born at 1 month, 6 months and 12 months postpartum. The surveys will ask questions on your physical and mental health, access to care, and experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, symptoms you may be experiencing, and your demographic information. We estimate that completing this study will take between 30 and 60 minutes for each survey and the monthly check-ins will be less than 5 minutes.

Receive gift cards for participating

There is no cost to you to participate in this research study and your medical care will not be affected if you decide not to participate. You will receive an Amazon gift card after each of the surveys as a thank you for your time.
